The Amar Sahid Bipin Singh Foundation was established to honour the sacred legacy of Shaheed Bipin Singh, a brave son of Bihar who laid down his life in service to the nation. His courage, devotion, and ultimate sacrifice became the seed of a movement—one rooted in compassion, upliftment, and the belief that true patriotism lies in serving people.

Founded by family, well-wishers, and inspired citizens, the Foundation is not just a tribute—it is a mission to continue what Bipin Singh stood for: courage, dignity, and service to society.

Based in India, and focused on its rural and underserved communities, the Foundation works tirelessly to:

Health and well being:

Amarsahid Bipin Singh Foundation is committed for promotion of health and enhancing the state of the physical, mental and emotional well being of people. It directs its efforts to ensure that people are able to make right choices, adopt healthy lifestyle, and have access to primary health services that can improve their health. Foundation’s health activities focus on reproductive, maternal, Neonatal, child and adolescents’ health. Awareness generation for prevention and early detection of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) is an important dimension of Health interventions.

Quality Education:

Organization works for quality education, life skills development, computer literacy, vocational training of underprivileged children living in resource scarce setting and marginalized situations. It also aims at using technology in education and working with government education system to improve school learning environment and outcomes. It will also focus on promoting professional competence and employable skills of youth for their development.

Women Empowerment:

Improvement of women’s social, economic, political, Familial and Health status is essential for the achievement of sustainable development. Foundation deals with all issues pertaining to overall development of women and girls. Organization nurtures their potentials and capacities to have access to opportunities, resources, determine choices and control their own lives.

EYE CARE:

Envisages strengthening of Local Self-Governance to become inclusive, participatory, just and efficient institutions of the people which address food & livelihood security, health, education, child protection and other primary entitlements. Organization aims to promote community participation in governance, strengthening capacity of women leaders, and Community based organizations for their active involvement in local development planning. It has also plans for building capacity of the PRI representatives for efficient discharging of responsibility.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene:

Mithila Painting: The Vibrant Folk Art of Bihar

Mithila painting, also known as Madhubani art, is a traditional Indian folk art form originating from the Mithila region of Bihar. Characterized by intricate geometric patterns, vibrant colors, and themes inspired by nature, mythology, and rituals, this art form was traditionally created by women on walls and floors during festivals. Today, it has gained global recognition as a unique cultural heritage, often depicted on paper, fabric, and handicrafts. Organizations and artisans are working to preserve and promote Mithila painting, empowering rural artists and sustaining this ancient tradition for future generations.
